WaterFire is a Sculpture by Barnaby Evans on the river of downtown Providence in Rhode Island. It is a Community arts event. On the WaterFire nights, there are about 86 pieces of bonfire that floats on the rivers. It is a free event where people can walk on the riverfront listening to the music and watching the flickering, floating lights. It is Magical!!! The event happens on scheduled nights in the summer. The lights are lit after it gets dark and stays until midnight.
