Do you love Animals and Nature? – Visit Bannerghata National Park

Bannerghata National Park is treat for nature lovers. Varieties of animals, snake parks, aquarium, butterfly gardens, and the safaris provide unique experiences.  It is located 22 kms from Bangalore city.

My favorite is the Jungle safari. There is the Grand Safari, Lion Safari and the Tiger Safari.  There are so many options driving around the Safari.  You can take the bus, jeep, van or cars. We were driven around in a huge van into the natural habitat of the animals.  While we are caged in the van, the animals roamed around freely. The tigers and lions come so close to the van.  It is so thrilling to see them that close without the fear of being eaten!!

There is also an elephant sanctuary.  Who does not love elephant??

The safari is a plastic free zone. Feeding the animals is strictly prohibited. It’s a well maintained Park.  The place can be crowded.  The best thing is to start very early and finish before the crowd hits. Food is allowed only in the zoo area.  It’s not allowed in the areas where the Safaris are located.
